The mission of the Information Technology Security Office (ITSO) is to provide active security analysis, development, education, and guidance related to Indiana University's information asset and information technology environment. The overall objective is a safe and secure atmosphere for teaching and learning, research, service, and the conduct of university business.
The ITSO is within the IU Office of the Vice President for Information Technology.
